1. General information
The information on FileMixr.com is provided for general information and product-use purposes. FileMixr offers online tools for image to PDF conversion, image format conversion, PDF to image conversion, PDF optimization and Word, Excel or PowerPoint conversion.
Nothing on this website is legal, financial, medical, tax, accounting, accessibility, cybersecurity, records-management or other professional advice. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional when the document or decision requires it.
2. Conversion results
File conversion can change page layout, fonts, line breaks, formulas, charts, images, transparency, colors, metadata, accessibility information, animations, embedded objects and other characteristics of the source file. A PDF, image or ZIP result may therefore not be an exact reproduction of the original.
You are responsible for opening the result, checking the content and formatting, confirming that pages and images are complete, and deciding whether the result is appropriate for its intended purpose. This is especially important for contracts, invoices, forms, applications, publications, presentations, spreadsheets and official records.
3. Output settings and file quality
Options such as output format, DPI or resolution, optimization profile and compression can affect visual quality, text clarity, file size, color, metadata and compatibility. A smaller file is not always the best file for printing or long-term preservation, and a high-resolution file may not be suitable for email or web delivery.
Choose settings based on how the result will be used and compare the output with the original. FileMixr does not guarantee that a selected setting will produce the same result across every file, device, operating system or viewing application.
4. Availability and supported formats
We aim to make FileMixr reliable and clear, but we cannot promise that every file, extension, font, document feature, device or conversion will be supported or available at all times. A familiar extension does not guarantee that a file is valid, uncorrupted or compatible with every conversion engine.
Supported formats, upload limits, processing time, output behavior and available controls may change as the service, dependencies and security requirements evolve.
5. Third-party formats and brands
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, HEIC, JPG, PNG and other product or format names are used to describe compatibility or the type of file that may be processed. Their respective names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners.
FileMixr is not affiliated with Microsoft, Adobe, Apple or other format owners unless expressly stated. Compatibility with a format does not imply endorsement, certification or sponsorship by the owner of that format.
6. Security, 24-hour retention and sensitive material
Do not upload a file unless you are authorised to do so and the published handling terms and technical environment are suitable for the material. Uploaded source files and converted results are scheduled for automatic deletion after 24 hours, but temporary retention and operational logs still exist while a request is processed and cleaned up.
You should not upload passwords, payment information, government identifiers, health records, trade secrets, privileged communications or other sensitive content unless you have assessed the risks and have permission to use the service. For confidential, regulated, safety-critical or legally significant documents, use a conversion process approved by your organisation and keep the original in a controlled location.
7. Your review and backup responsibility
Before relying on a converted file, confirm that it opens correctly, contains all expected pages, preserves important information and works in the application or system where it will be used. Keep a copy of the original upload and any verified result in a location you control.
A successful server response means that processing completed; it does not mean that the result is accurate, complete, legally valid, accessible or suitable for a particular purpose.
8. Questions and error reports
If something looks unclear, a supported file fails to convert or a generated result does not behave as expected, contact FileMixr before relying on it. Include the tool name, source format, approximate time and a description of the issue, but avoid sending confidential content unless it is necessary and an appropriate support channel is provided.
